SHOP: NEW ARRIVAL AT FORMER KUTI'S SHOP

A small takeout counter at 116th Street just west of Manhattan Avenue that briefly had Kuti's at the address has found a new tenant.  As some may remember, the West African snack shack shuttered almost 4 years ago but nothing has come about until now.  A current photo submitted by a Bespoke reader after the jump.
Elma's looks like it is about ready to go with signage already up at the tiny storefront.  This will probably be a popular delivery business for the area but having a great spot to quickly grab a bite is always a nice sort of establishment to have in any neighborhood.  Does anyone else have any details on this new arrival?

  1. It's going to be a juice bar. The owner is a 27-year-old Harlem native. Go support this business, people!

  2. We met the owner and Elma was his grandmother and he will be cooking the kind of food she cooked.
