☞ DWELL: 236 West 139th Street Brownstone
Dwell will be a weekly series focusing on the Harlem brownstone market. Today's brownstone is on the landmarked Striver's Row block and is about 300k less than another house that is up for sale in the area. At 699K asking, this may be the best deal in Harlem. On the plus side, there is the garage out front and the building is one of Harlem's most historically significant rowhouses. On the negative is that the house is an SRO and needs renovations. All things said, this seems like a better deal than some of the 900k shells on the market that do not even have roofs on them. Location is at 236 West 139th Street between Adam P. Boulevard/7th Avenue and Frederick D. Boulevard/8th Avenue. See past post on Striver's Row: LINK
