☞ DWELL: 10 West 123rd Street Brownstone
For the asking price of $1.495 million, this 2-family brownstone in the historic Mount Morris Park district is pretty spot-on for this type of property. The neighborhood is one of the most beautiful in the city and has attracted celebrities in the recent years for its rich stock of untouched brownstones and tree-lined streets. Some of the best restaurants in Harlem have set up shop around the corner on Malcolm X/Lenox Avenue, and the 2,3 express train is close by on 125th Street. The down side is that the interior renovations are very minimal with the look of plain drywall and no moulding detail in sight. On the plus side, they did a decent job with the garden out back. Overall, an ideal starter brownstone for the family that has the money and enthusiasm to live in a desirable, solid neighborhood.
