☞ DWELL: 3 Hamilton Terrace Brownstone

On Sunday, August 16th from 2-3 p.m., you may want to check out the open house at 3 Hamilton Terrace between 141st and 142nd Street in Hamilton Heights. This two-family house has all the interior details and is on one of the most charming blocks in Manhattan. Though not the gold standard of 20-feet wide, this 17.5-foot townhouse has had a price reduction of 17% as an incentive. The original asking price five months ago was $1.5 million, and now it is down to $1.25 million. City College is nearby, and you can see the historic Hamilton Grange house under renovation down the block (first photo). The closest subway station is the A,B,C,D express on 145th, less than five minutes away. Amenities are still lacking in this mostly residential section of Harlem, but the express train can get one to South Harlem in one stop and to midtown in 20 minutes.
