☞ DWELL: 413 West 154th Street Brownstone
We have taken photos of the little Victorian townhouse row of West 154th Street in Sugar Hill before but noticed one of the homes for sale last week while we walked by. This single family house between St. Nicholas Avenue and Amsterdam is asking for $1.29 million and is the golden 20 foot wide standard. There doesn't seem to be much original detail still intact based on the interior photos, but the street is perfectly quiet and tree-lined. The C local train is close by on 155th Street, so there are transportation options. See our past post that has a historic photo of the block: LINK. Top photo by Ulysses

Actually, there's a bit more original detail than you'd think, including three original working wood-burning fireplaces! Minor note - the house is 21' wide (and 52' deep on a 99' lot) - just a bit larger than the 20' "gold standard" - and carefully renovated throughout.
