☞ EAT: Rack and Soul's Fried Chicken
Charles Gabriel's fried chicken has been missed in the northern reaches of Central Harlem since his original restaurant closed down (car ran into it, don't ask). Last week's New York magazine reports that he is also the chef at Morningside Height's Rack and Soul restaurant which we often go to when we are in the area. This eatery looks like an old country, roadside inn and the food fits the bill, so stop by if you haven't done so already. The bigger news in the article is that Charles will reopen his flagship shop mid October, in Central Harlem. We will keep you posted as the day gets closer. Rack and Soul is located at 258 W. 109th Street. Tel. 212-222-4800. Take the 1 train to 110th Street. Photo by Ulysses. Read more and get a glimpse of the interior in our past post: LINK
