☞ SEE: East Harlem's Pedro Pietri Mural

When we went over to the east side of Harlem last week, we noticed that lower Lexington Avenue was mural central. What's nice about the art on the walls in this part of town is that they are all hand painted with brushes in the traditional sense and thus the painterly quality can be seen in each piece of work. The above shot of the Pedro Pietri mural is on the side of the popular East Harlem Cafe. Read more about the cafe and this section of East Harlem in our previous post: LINK. The East Harlem Cafe is located at 1651 Lexington Avenue, between 104th Street and 105th Street. Nearest subway is the 6 train at 103rd. Photo by Ulysses
