☞ EAT: Il Caffe Latte's Lunch Menu
After a few days of winter-like weather, warmer fall temperatures finally returned, bringing out the brunch crowd to the new restaurants of Harlem. Il Caffe Latte at Lenox Avenue, between 119th Street and 120th Street, is one of our favorite spots to drop by for a bite when the weather is warm and bright. We were amazed at how popular this eatery had gotten since it re-opened a couple of months back. With groups of people waiting for open tables, we had to hang out for a bit before being seated. What's nice about the cafe is the warm lunch offering which included burgers and sweet potato fries. The patty was on the skinny side but well seasoned with the fries being the star of the show. The diverse crowd had couples of all ages and young families enjoying this new local favorite in the Mount Morris Park Historic district. See our past posts on Il Caffe Latte: LINK. The nearest subway is the 2,3 train at 125th Street. All photos by Ulysses
