☞ DWELL: 312 Pleasant Avenue Brownstone
For those who always wanted to be close both to their Italian roots and a mall in Manhattan, one of the brownstones on 312 Pleasant Avenue (2nd building from left) is currently on the market for the asking price of $995K. This three-family building sits half a block north of East 116th Street, has five bedrooms and three baths with some original details, and is located on one of the more charming corners of East Harlem. On the down side, the building looks like it's under 16 feet wide, and the 6 train is several avenues east at 116th street and a good 15-minute walk to get to. All said, transportation might not matter for those who just want to shop at the East River Plaza and Costco, which is a stone's throw away from the backyard. Photo by Ulysses
