☞ DWELL: Baton Rouge Townhouse Up for Sale

Just on the market this past week, curbed.com breaks the news that the former Baton Rouge townhouse on 458 West 145th Street is up for sale. We have been admiring how much more tranquil West 145th Street is compared to most of 125th Streets commercial bustle. Unfortunately, it was way too slow on the strip for what was a decent restaurant in Hamilton Heights. Each floor are all railroad spaces but the parlor level has the bar and garden. The rest of the floors are open dining spaces with a single bathroom on each and the basement has the full industrial kitchen. With a total of 3,176 squarefoot, the townhouse would be a great space for a restaurant owner to live and work. What's the asking price? A cool $1.1 million can get an aspiring chef a restaurant start up and a home. This townhouse is between Amsterdam and Convent Avenue with nearest subways either the A,B,C,D or the 1 train at 145th Street. House photo by Ulysses.
