☞ REMEMBER: The Historic Murals of Harlem
After last week's post on Harlem mural artist Franco the Great, we really started appreciating public art along our city walks. The wall on Lenox Avenue and 124th Street has some of the important African-Americans of our time painted on it but its slowly deteriorating. For those who missed out on the film 125 Franco's Boulevard, there's a website with a small clip on how folks are trying to save some of these pieces for the future. www.125francosblvd.com. The closest train this mural is the 2,3 express on 125th Street.
