☞ REVIVE: The Best Way to Help Haiti
A concern that many have during disaster relief efforts may be the legitimacy or efficacy of many organizations funneling finances or providing direct help. This weekend's New York Times article is a good primer on the factors to consider when donating, as many organizations are rallying for local events to further help out the cause in Haiti. One of the first questions is: where is the primary use of charitable giving? Is it to direct aid, or to administrative costs? Fundraising is a general term, so check out where all the donations will eventually end up.
