☞ DWELL: The Harlem Brownstone Studio

Harlem Bespoke readers have come to us in the past with rental listings but we recently had a request for a brownstone studio apartment that might be available in Harlem. Our apartment-seeking reader graduated from Columbia, lived in the Upper West Side and has now decided that things were a little too slow in that part of town and would like to check out some charming Harlem Brownstone studios. Do these really exist? We have either seen SRO situations in many brownstones or the popular floor-through one or two bedroom apartments. The brownstones that have two separate one bedrooms apartments to a floor are really glorified studios so that might really be what's on the market these days.
