☞ DWELL: 303 West 123rd Street Brownstone

The two townhouse located right by the Dwyer building sit in a decent location but the surroundings are still very up and coming. The first major issue on the corner of 123rd Street and FDB is that there is a massive parking lot behind the property which was probably a very large apartment complex at some point in time. The property for sale is the building on the right of the photo which is basically a 17 foot wide townhouse on a shallow lot (only 50 foot deep). Directly at front of the building is the police station which looks like it was constructed in the 1970's based on the concrete, military barracks looks of it and has patrol cars parked all around. If safety is one's concern than this must be one of the safest spots in town but the view is a bit uninspiring. The asking price is at $1.47 million with the possibility of buying and combining the neighboring townhouse into one building. We assume the price would be similar for both. There are three family units and one commercial space with 2,760 square feet altogether. The closest train to this location is the A,B,C,D at 125th Street. Photo by Ulysses
