☞ WALK: Progress at New Dinosaur Barbeque

The mundane side entrance to the new Dinosaur Barbeque is getting a facelift this week. An industrial awning with zinc roofing, rust and all, is currently being added to the formerly nondescript side entrance (top photo). Weathered wood paneling has also been added to the windows and a side entrance door is emerging where there used to be plywood boards (center photo, taken prior to awning addition). The last photo is the original space a couple of block north which will close once the new space opens on 125th Street and 12th Avenue. If they are expeditious, maybe the first week of March would be a realistic opening date for the new space. The nearest subway to this new location is the 1 train at 125th Street.
