Last week, the new Morningside Heights restaurant Vareli had a few opening private parties and had signs up stating that the debut date will be this week. Monday has passed and the multi-level eatery is officially open to the public. The proprietor of West Side Market on 110th Street apparently worked on this new venture so it should be worth checking out. Vareli is at 2869 Broadway between 111th and 112th Street.
