☞ DWELL: 2107 Fifth Avenue Brownstone

The renovated brownstone at 2107 Fifth Avenue (white house at center) between 129th and 130th Street has been on the market since the middle of 2009 and has gone through a couple of interesting price changes. The brownstone was bought last January for $780K and appeared back on the market six months later for $1.79 million. After not moving for a couple of months the price was taken down to $1.65 million and then removed from the market December. Currently back in action, the property has two prices which is $1.59 million (for those who want to buy it now) and a $990k price for an auction that starts on March 16th. The four bedroom two and a half bath owners triplex with a full floor master suite and a one bedroom garden rental unit is in a pretty charming area and only a five minute walk to 125th Street. The closest train is the 2,3 at 125th Street. House photo by Ulysses

  1. Great posts! Very interesting to see which buildings are sitting empty right now and to see the work done on them. Thanks.

  2. This is way overpriced. Nice renovation but it won't go for more than $1.3MM

  3. They must have run out of $. “Virtual tour” shows bits that are unfinished. Temporary wood railings in the front don't inspire confidence.
