☞ SEE: Water's Edge at Chashama Galleries
March 12th – April 3rd, Wednesdays – Fridays 4pm – 8pm, Saturdays & Sundays 11am – 6pm; Opening Reception Friday, March 12th 7 pm – 10 pm Chashama's 461 Gallery. Water’s Edge: 12 Artists from The Brooklyn Army Terminal, a group exhibition curated by artist Kristin Reed. This month at chashama’s 461 Gallery in Harlem an exhibit of twelve artists whose studios are located within the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, where the waters of the Hudson River widen into the expanse of New York Harbor. The opening night will include a performance by B.A.T. artist Hayley McCulloch and Despina Sophia Stamos, featuring sculptural headpieces in an exploration of the act of moving. Free and open to the public. Chashama's 461 Gallery is in West Harlem at 461 West 126th Street, between Amsterdam and Convent Avenue. The closest train is the 1 or the A,B,C,D at 125th Street.
