☞ SHOP: Manhatanville New Retail Up For Lease
We mentioned some time back that the new commercial space under the railroad tracks by 12th Avenue and 125th Street seemed to be ready to debut as a new business. Walking by the site last week, we noticed that a lease sign was posted up so the owners apparently went through all the trouble of building a new look for this space without actually getting a commercial tenant. Seeing that the new Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is directly behind the building, maybe interest will pick up after April when the popular eatery opens its doors. The closest subway to this location is the 1 train at 125th Street. Read about the space in our past post: LINK. Photo by Ulysses

This spot is perfect for a Shake Shack. Contact them and mentioned where this location is and see if they look into it.

You know, that's true. Right by the piers, within walking distance to Columbia and City College. They wouldn't get the kind of traffic that the one across from the American Museum of Natural History does, but it wouldn't be bad, I'd think.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it would be nice to have something other than just another junk food restaurant.
