☞ DWELL: 256-258 West 135th Brownstones
What used to house the Little Widow's Church on West 135th Street in West Harlem is now up for an interesting adaptive reuse project. Migdol Organization is offering 256-258 West 135th as a 1-4 family, five level brownstones. Each property sold separately and built to order is going for $1.45 million which would include the 19 x 65 foot townhouse on a 100 foot lot that qualifies for FHA loans. The developers have converted over 20 such similar townhouse in the Harlem area within 6-8 months of receiving the property's CO. The townhouses have been empty for four years so its a great chance to revive this corner of Harlem that is only a block away from St. Nicholas Park. Call the broker at 917-312-3416 for more information. This location is between FDB/8th Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue with the B,C at 135th Street as the nearest subway. Photos by Ulysses

Unfortunately the older couple did not sell when they had the chance and the property fell into the hands of family members (after the husband passed and wife became ill) who had little interest and very poor money management. Now these buildings have become an over priced eye sore and fire hazard to the community. Migdol will have difficulty getting them off his hands..
