☞ WALK: The Roosevelt Theater's New Look
The old Roosevelt Theater at 145th Street and ACP/7th Avenue is getting a new look. When we walked by the corner a couple of weeks ago, there were a crew of men placing up fresh new awnings and signage out front. The movie theater built in the 1920's has a bust of Theodore Roosevelt at the top of the facade and was previously used as a Pioneer Supermarket in the past decade. The new Fine Fare has taken over the space and the building is looking a little more fresh than it has in years. The old Roosevelt Theater building is at 2497 ACP/7th Avenue and can be reached by the 3 or the A,B,C,D at 145th Street. Photo by Ulysses
