☞ BESPOKE: Spring Brownstone Potted Plants

Springtime is here again and nothing transforms bare concrete (or tiled) brownstone front yards like an assortment of potted plants. Walking by 353 West 120th Street, just west of Manhattan Avenue, we spied a newly potted flowering tree with an abundance of rosemary planted at the base. Once the blooms disappear, the tree will provide some nice shade and the rosemary garden will supply fresh herbs until early fall. There's alway a happy homeowner behind such endeavors, so it's nice to see folks making things a bit greener in the nabe. Photo by Ulysses
