All of this session's music is influenced and inspired by the musical talents of American great jazz artists including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Miles Davis. Akatsuki is led by Wataru Uchida on the saxophone and features Miki Hirose, trumpet; Toru Dodo, piano; and Hirota Tanaka, bass.
