☞ SHOP: Wild Olive Market Not Yet Open

We just swung by Wild Olive Market at East 125th Street and 5th Avenue late this afternoon and it seems like they are running a little behind of the reported Thursday opening date. What's new at the (rumored) organic mart is that the fruit stands have now been set up out front. None of the other recently opened better markets in Harlem, such as Citarella or Best Yet, have produce stands outside of their shops so this will definitely be a nice change. Late today, workers were still feverishly loading the shelves inside the store and folks who accidentally walked in were politely ushered out. Maybe the store will be open tomorrow at the earliest. 1. Thanks for the update, I stopped by this morning only to find it shuttered. The weather is so nice out it will be a beautiful day on 125th Street when Wild Olive opens its doors to us Harlemites.

  3. They are open today. I stopped by and picked up a few things. They are still some empty shelves and a couple of areas (like coffee station) not quite ready, but nonetheless a great addition to the neighborhood. Prices are very reasonable and there are a lot of organic offerings.
