☞ DWELL: 115 West 130th Street Brownstone

There 4 family townhouse at 115 West 130th Street, between ACP/7th and Lenox has been on the market for several months (since January) now and recently had a price reduction to $1.25 million. The 17 foot wide, Central Harlem home looks move in ready, has working fireplaces and is on a tree lined block (with a couple shells). The interior is a basic drywall and brick renovation but the back yard has a bit of character to it. The 2,3 express train at 125th Street is a 5 block walk from this location. Has anyone seen this one? Current facade photo by Ulysses

  1. Although it isn't in the best area in Harlem, this is a nice looking house with a very reasonable asking price.

  2. Looks lovely. Don't get too hung up on having to have precise interior details. Lost count of the number of people that nearly wet themselves because a bathroom has the original floor (even though it looks CRAP).

  3. I lived in this place. It was a shell that was gutted to the beams in late 90's. Everything was new at that time. Its rental grade finished with some slightly nicer stuff in the garden unit, still a decent place if you like the neighborhood. Live in the garden unit while renting other 3, and eventually put stairs in and take over parlor unit.
