☞ INTRODUCING: Exodus House Middle School
The new building for the East Harlem School at Exodus House is literally too cool for school. We had to swing by Peter Gluck and Partners' graphic and visionary new middle school this morning to really see the details for ourselves. The pixelated black, white and grey top exterior facade matches down to the gradating wall tiles at the lower base of the building. A simple chain link fence that sections off the playground also recieves a nice aesthetic treatment (lower photo). On the inside, everything is also designed in detail down to the circular perforated school lockers. Check out more photos and details on the Metropolis magazine site: LINK. The East Harlem School at Exodus House is east of 2nd Avenue at East 103rd Street. The nearest subway is the 6 train at 103rd Street. Facade photos by Ulysses
