Join Samurai Sword Soul for a performance of choreographed sword fighting, featuring an engaging mix of comedy routines, humanistic-themed drama, and thrilling sword fights set to music. Samurai Sword Soul is a theater company whose mission is to spread the BUSHI-DO, the Way of Samurai. Sunday, July 18, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center. Part of the annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival, Harlem Blues & Jazz Band will perform at Central Park by 110th Street between 5th and Lenox Avenues. The lakeside performance is free and open to all ages. A few chairs are provided and guests are welcomed to bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy the music from one of the Park's nearby lawns.
