The shop at 2220 FDB/8th Avenue (by the old Corcoran office) and 120th Street has had question marks in the window for the past year but no apparent work in site. Yesterday, a couple of guys replaced the old rusty cellar hatch with a new, grey door (photo) and we saw that the DOB site has a new renovation permit for the store set up last month. Any clues on what this will be? Landlords usually don't fix up spaces themselves and require new tenants to do so. Photo by Ulysses
