☞ EAT: Red Rooster Opening Set for October
In the world of highly anticipated Harlem openings, October seems to be the new month to watch out for. A reader walked by the Red Rooster space last week at 310 Lenox, (just north of 125th Street) and took the lower photo. Either they were going to pick up the pace really quickly and make an opening sometimes in September or push the date out to later. Apparently later seems to be the word of the day according to New York magazine's list of restaurants to watch out for in the fall: LINK. Based on the call out, October is the set month that folks will have wait for those swedish meatballs and jerk-catfish sandwiches from Marcus Samuelsson. The other big October opening is the Aloft Hotel: LINK. Facade photo by Ulysses
