The Aloft Hotel at 2300 FDB/8th Avenue and 123rd Street doesn't look like it's going to be ready by the last reported date of August 19th. The building made some progress recently but now looks like it's stuck in limbo. Their website now announces that reservations will start for arrival on October 15th and the August opening date is no longer to be found: LINK. I sort of wonder what sort of labor problems they are having. This place has looked the way it does on the above photo for well over a month. If they did any recent work on the exterior I couldn't tell.

Living right next to Aloft and there is definitely a crew working there 6 days a week. Some mornings I wish they weren't :)
