☞ INTRODUCING: The Red Rooster in Progress
Marcus Samuelsson's highly anticipated Red Rooster restaurant at 310 Lenox Avenue has many folks anxiously waiting for the eatery's early fall arrival but is anything going on in the space? The storefront that is about a block north of 125th Street looks exactly the same as it did months ago so many are wondering if this is going to be one of those long, drawn-out, late openings. Twitter might be the answer to finding out what's going on since Mr. Samuelsson has been tweeting work in progress. The middle photo shows the interior renovations in process some time ago and the last image is that of the official uniforms that have just been approved. Based on his aggressive performance on Top Chef Masters, we kind of think that Marcus is the type of guy that makes things happen so let's hope things wrap up in the next month or so. The Red Rooster is also looking for a pastry and sous chefs so check out the Marcus Samuelsson Twitter page: LINK

I thought he was opening a space in the Loft (sp?) hotel?
ReplyDeleteI read a quote from Marcus that "...the restaurant will open when the restaurant is ready." Hope it's ready soon!
