☞ REVIVE: The Dempsey Gains Momentum
Back in February, we noticed that the parking lot at 130-150 West 128th Street, between ACP/7th Avenue and Lenox had a new affordable housing complex starting up: LINK. The six-story, 80 unit affordable housing building had finished up its foundation work about six weeks ago (top) and the base level was just starting to form. Walking by this week, we noticed that the facade is past the cinderblock phase and brickwork is now in full gear. It's also nice to see that the building stayed within the original residential zoning of the block since it is a mainly brownstone lined side street. We often get request on how to get into these new building lotteries. So if anyone can advise, that would help some readers out. All photos by Ulysses
