☞ WALK: Patsy's 77th Anniversary Celebration
We went by the East Harlem's Patsy's today to see what the festivities were about. Walking to the corner of East 118th Street and First Avenue, revelers are greeted by an entourage of 1930's automobiles. Patsy's has been around for 77 years and the original storefront and period appropriate cars made for quite a moment. Line-wise, the crowd already wound to the end of the block with the direct noon day sun beating down. We decided to skip the 60-cent, retro-priced pie offer in the main restaurant and went for some regular price pizza at their takeout next door. For those who want to venture out, the 1933 price menu (everything under 90-cents) goes on today until 6:00 PM. All photos by Ulysses
