☞ DWELL: 14 Convent Avenue in Contract

The abandoned 20 foot wide, 3,040 square foot townhouse at 14 Convent Avenue has been on the market since March and it now has recently gone into contract. We mentioned when the property first arrived on the market for $575K that the building still had some wood paneling detail on the inside. The location just north of 127th Street was also close enough to the A,B,C,D express train at 125th Street. On other hand, the detached side of the building is exposed to a dilapidated MTA bus parking lot and the view across the street also includes an open parcel of land where a corner building once stood.
