☞ DWELL: 210 West 122nd Street Townhouse
In 2008, the house at 210 West 122nd Street was trying to sell for more than $3 million and then eventually reducing to around $1.9 million for most of 2009 before being pulled off the market. The narrow, 15 foot wide townhouse at 210 West 122nd Street has great bones with original details inside and out (the stain glass is quite notable) but one would still have classified it as a fixer-upper.
After arriving back on the market this summer, things might go a little better at the current $2.1 million price once the promised renovations are complete in the next coming month. The building seems to be about approximately 3,000 square foot in total but square footage quotes are all over the place for this one. There originally was an issue with SRO status and the reported certificate of non harassment in place now should resolve that situation. The house is located between FDB/8th Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue with the closest trains about 4 blocks away at the 2,3 stop on 125th Street. Apparently it will be converted into a bed and breakfast if a buyer doesn't come along.
