☞ DWELL: 458 West 145th Street Townhouse

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, September 10th, 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM. Some might have expected the final sale price to be revealed for the former Baton Rouge restaurant-townhouse at 458 West 145th Street (between Amsterdam and Convent) that went into contract in July but that deal has since fell through.  The last asking price of $1.1 million has been now reduced to $999K for the 4 story, 15 foot wide, 3,176 square foot, historic Hamilton Heights townhouse with an industrial kitchen in the basement. It would probably be an easy one family conversion or live-work setup with the lower floors as a business and the upper half as a single family home. Interior wise, there's a lot of details but the restaurant bars and over the top colors will have to be rectified. The location is only a couple of blocks away from the 145th Street 1 train at Broadway or the quicker A,B,C,D trains a few more blocks in the other direction.
