☞ DWELL: 123 West 131st Street Condos
After taking photos of 131st Street for the proposed historic district, we realized that the narrow building that was being built on a former brownstone-size lot had just finished up. We really didn't have a lot of high hopes for number 123 West 131st Street (between Lenox and ACP/7th) since it looked like it was going to be one of those bland brick buildings with oversized balconies taking over what little space was available on the facade. It turns out that they at least tried to have a stucco-brownstone feel to the building and the final result isn't a total disaster for the Harlem Sol 123 building (we would have preferred scaled-down juliette balconies for the size of this type of development and a little more brown in the final facade color). After a little research, we found that units range from studios to 3 bedrooms, are around 524 - 1197 square foot, priced from $299,000 to $729,000 with common charges from $346.93 to $1,090.36 per month. They also did a great job with the interior staging seeing that most new condos are basically white boxes and recessed lighting on the inside. HarlemSol123.com

Ulysses, is it the place next door to the modern looking condo? The exterior photos on the site look like regular brownstone shots. Lovely interiors.
ReplyDeleteApparently the brownstone next door is call Harlem Sol 121 vs. this development which is called Harlem Sol 123. The links got crossed and now the right one is up. Harlem Sol 121 looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an oil spill in the living room.
