Some photos of the yet to be open Harlem Flo Boutique at 2276 FDB/8th Avenue just have been sent over to us and it looks like the designer florists will open their second shop this weekend. We mentioned back in October that the new store at the corner of 123rd Street and FDB was arriving sometimes soon and it seems like they got their act together pretty quickly. ReplyDeleteAwesome news. I've always admired their presentation. So does anyone know how Harlem Flo Boutique differentiate from the existing Harlem Flo Floral Atelier? (Providing of course that both will stay open.)
ReplyDeleteI'm very hopeful that they will have full access to utilize and beautify the adjacent garden corner. I can already envision it filled with Christmas Trees for sale this season. Too bad that they will be opening up in the shadows of new scaffolding though -- unless they're the ones doing work to the facade. So many questions!
I have spoken with the owners and the two shops will be different in the following ways, the new store will be more of a lifestyle boutique; with merchandise such as candles, decorative housewares etc. They see a need in the neighbourhood and are trying to offer a service. I do hope that we will all support them and make them a success remember when when they succeed we succeed.
