☞ DWELL: 235 West 136th Street Brownstone
OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, November 14th, 2:00 PM-3:30 PM. We just posted on the 17 foot wide SRO building at 235 West 136th Street this week and the first open house is this weekend. Our initial response to the brownstone with a Certificate of Non Harassment in place is that the interiors must be a chopped up wreck since no photos of the rooms in the 3,136 square foot, 4-level house could be found. Now that the listing for the townhouse on one of the better looking brownstone blocks in Harlem have come up, it seems like things are pretty habitable. The floors look like they are in decent shape and there are some original details. Currently the asking price is at $995K which sounded a little high at first.
