Did the Verizon building at 148 West 125th just net some major profit? It's sort of unclear but from what we can gather through Streeteasy, the very dated looking structure located between Lenox and ACP/7th Avenue was sold to Verizon just last year for $190K. As of about a month ago, Verizon sold the 21,302 square foot building (that is right by the Studio Musuem in Harlem) to some midtown firm for $6.35 million:

ReplyDeleteMust have been a sale by the relative a a deceased owner who had NO idea of the value of Harlem real estate.
I hope the manager responsible for that prchase gets a wall street size bonus.
