A reader asked recently about the application process for the new Douglass Park affordable rental building at 128th Street and FDB/8th Avenue which had just recently topped off. The building's project manager had contacted us and advised that applications are currently up on line for those interested:
LINK. Affordable units for a one bedroom start as low as $511 per month and go up to $1,127 per month on a three bedroom apartment. Salary restrictions vary for each type of unit so go to the aforementioned application link for all the details. Deadlines for applying at the Douglass Park will be December 21st. The larger development just on the next block at St. Nicholas Avenue, which is called the Balton, will not be available until later on in the next coming months:
