☞ INTRODUCING: Welcome Lights on 125th Street
The city did a great job getting the holiday lights up on 125th Street from river to river this year and we especially like the new "Welcome" decorative banner that went up in the past week. This new banner was was just placed up recently and differ from the snowflake lights that were installed a couple of weekends ago: LINK. All of 125th Street now kind of looks like downtown Little Italy at night but that's really the point of it all.

I love the lights -- they did a GREAT job! Merry Xmas Harlem.
ReplyDeleteHello Ulysses,
ReplyDeleteWe are very pleased that you like the lights on 125th Street. They were done by the 125th Street Business Improvement District in collaboration with Community Boards #9, 10, and 11.
The welcome sign was a gift from the lighting contractor for one year. I agree with Harlem Bespoke -- it is a great addition. For further info on the lights and to see our sponsors who made it happen, please visit www.125thstreetbid.com
