☞ READ: Columbia's Manhattanville Campus a Go
Bloomberg News reports that the U.S. Supreme Court has rejected the last effort Eminent Domain appeals by the two holdouts in Manhattanville on the proposed new 6.8 million square foot Columbia campus site. This would probably be the final case to be heard on the matter and the 3 remaining sites will have to be relinquished for the $6.3 billion expansion of uptown's Ivy League college. I for one will look forward to seeing this campus project realized in the years ahead.
ReplyDeleteThere's a whole lot more to be gained from cooperation between CU and the community than from the sort of bitter and divisive conflict that's been stirred up (for what should be obvious reasons) by the last couple of holdouts...
