We don't really watch all those cake challenge shows on Food Network but when we heard that Tonnie Rozier of Tonnie's Minis might be on one of the episodes last night, we had to check things out. Cupcake Wars is apparently a popular show for the cupcake obsessed and pits regional bakers against one another. The episode called "Tree People" was focused on making the perfect nature-inspired cupcakes for an upcoming benefit of an environment conservation group. Tonnie's Minis is the popular Harlem Mount Morris Park Historic District cupcake spot on Lenox (between 124th and 123rd) which just opened a bit over a year ago but has now received some national attention as of last night. For those who missed the episode, check out the schedule on the Food Network site since they repeat the current ones often. Next viewing is on Sunday:
