☞ EAT: Wurst Month at Bier International



Bier International just came up with a Wurst Month menu to get everyone through the February weather and here are some photos of the chef Adrian Flor Santos specials. At top is the Bavarian Weisswurst which is a grilled veal sausage served with the requisite pretzel, at center is a beef and pork blood sausage from Germany and the last photo shows off the ham Tiroler sausage from Austria.  There's quite a few more on the menu and it all comes along with suggested beer pairings with basic plates starting at $9. Bier International is located at 2099 FDB/8th Avenue and West 113th Street. The closest subways are the B,C at 110th or 116th Street. www.BierInternational.com

  1. I am perplexed by the unripe strawberry that seems to have made the trek from plate to plate. . . the trad accompaniment to lonely-blackberry -surrounded-by -parsely-in-a-small-ramekin?
