The storefront signs were missing at 181 Lenox and 119th Street so we were wondering if the Harlem Yoga Studio had shut down. This boutique yoga establishment opened back in October 2009 within the Mount Morris Park Historic District but we haven't heard much about enrollment of the classes. A quick search on the studio's website indicates that they are temporarily holding set up on Lenox at 127th Street:

They're alive and well and using the film center space and the adjoining storefront between 127 and 128. They have a great yoga class for kids on Sunday mornings at 9:15 - 10:15.
ReplyDeleteThey are hoping to move into a new location on 125th Street this spring/summer. Their YogaTone classes on Mon and Wed mornings are great too!

I wonder if the new space is between Island Salads and Wild Olives? I noticed a new storefront taking shape there last night.
