Five Guys Burgers and Fries has been constructing their first uptown location for the past few months and now it looks like things are nearly finished. The popular chain with exceptionally large burgers has a couple of downtown location but this one just above 110th and Broadway will be the furthest north that they have branched out so far. This Morningside Heights location is right by the 110th Street stop so folks up in the heights will have easy access via the 1 line. At the current rate of progress, Five Guys should be making their debut any day now from what we can gather. We kind of love this sort of business since it provides better restaurant quality fare but really at a great price point. On the down side, its really not a place to hang out since the interiors are pretty basic.
