Friday, March 11th, 7:30 PM, Marcus Stricktland Quartet at the Gatehouse Theatre, 150 Convent Avenue at West 135th Street. Saturday, March 12th, 2:00 PM, Ladies Singing the Blues — A Tribute to Blues at the Apollo Theater at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue at 103rd. Come celebrate and learn about the great leading ladies who sang the blues and helped to create the New York City songbook. Continuing this legacy in the tradition of Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Bessie Smith, and Alberta Hunter is Harlem's own Ghanniyyah Greene.  This event is a FREE addition to the general admission for MCNY: LINK

Saturday, March 12th, Noon-4:00 PM, The Unforgettable Trunk Show at Casa Frela, 47 West 119th Street.  The Casa Frela gallery will have a trunk show that showcases the talent and merchandise of 11 local artist.  More details for this FREE event can be found at the gallery website: LINK

Sunday, March 13th, 3:00 PM, Sunday Matinee at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, 466 West 152nd Street, between Amsterdam and St. Nicholas Avenues. See Harlem's iconic classic ballet company perform at this once a month event which features guest hoasts and entertainment.  Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for children which may all be purchased at the Dance Theatre site: LINK
