The seemingly abandoned site at 240 Manhattan Avenue and 110th Street recently had excavation equipment concealed behind the blue plywood fence but now more visible work is at hand. One of those taller trucks with the crane-hose setup where on site this past week and the gates were fully opened to reveal the lot at certain times during the day. As reported previously, a single-story commercial retail space had been planned for this corner facing Morningside Park but work has not started until now.
