Friday, March 25th, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM, The Winter Thaw at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue & 103rd. The Young Members Circle (YMC) of the Museum of the City of New York is pleased to announce The Winter Thaw! This event will feature music by DJ Annmarie Parker and DJ LiLu, cocktails, dancing and much more. All proceeds benefit the Museum of the City of New York. Friday, March 25th, 7:30 PM, SOUL:Remix, Reconstructed & Revisited, at the Gatehouse,150 Convent Avenue at West 135th Street. Winners form Harlem Stage's "Got Soul" competition will take a musical journey that will celebrate the poignancy of the era and artists like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Musiq, Bilal, Lauryn Hill, and more, while offering an exciting glimpse of the future. Saturday, March 27th, 7:30 PM Screening of the Inside Job at the Maysles Cinema, 343 Lenox Avenue. The Inside Job is the winner of the 2011 Academy Award for Best Documentary and the first film to expose the shocking truth behind the economic crisis of 2008. Sunday, March 27th, 4:00 PM, Riverside Church, 490 Riverside Drive (between 120th & 122nd Street). The Riverside Church will host an Interfaith Time of Reflection for Japan event that will feature prayer and reflection by interfaith leaders, Japanese survivors and speakers from the area damaged by the earthquake and tsunami as well as performances by Japanese musicians: LINK
